Areas of Interest

Machines will overrun the globe, and technical talents will be in high demand in the near future. Jobs pertaining to maintenance, upgrading, computing, and other software-hardware associated tasks will be in high demand as machines and technological advancements in the workplace proliferate. As a result, the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department at the International Standard University (ISU) sheds light more on AI, IoT, System Management, and Network Security, which will assist graduates thrive in the highly competitive automation market across the world.

The faculty members of the CSE department are capable of carrying out their research focusing on information system analysis, e-governance, AI, image processing, financial market analysis, mathematical ecology, optoelectronics, wireless ad-hoc network, network security, and so on. A range of software, for instance, Code blocks, TurboC++, IntelliJ IDEA Communication, MATLAB, NS3, and PyCharm are used to carry out the research. In addition, few qualitative approaches ranging from action research to case studies are employed to conduct the aforementioned research. For smoothly functioning research activities, ISU provides a variety of resources, including a computer lab, a circuit lab, and a digital classroom.

We are, in fact, on the verge of major industrial shifts and technology developments that will dramatically transform the way we live, work, and interact with one another. People are experiencing artificial intelligence and self-driving cars in this fourth industrial revolution (4IR). The technological devices will assist us in comprehending and operating machines, as well as analysing the progress of industrialization. Finally, the scope of the research aims at reaching the SDG-9, highlighting industry, innovation, and infrastructure set by the United Nations Organisation by 2030.
