About ISU
ISU has come into being under the Private University Act, 2010 with the approval of UGC and the Ministry of Education, Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. It has been founded by the ‘International Standard University Trust’ and is managed by a Board of Trustees, composed of the philanthropic industrialists from Standard Group who are committed to imparting quality education to the students. As a part of their CSR activity, the founders aim at building the university as purely a non-profit institution. The campus is student friendly with all sorts of modern facilities in the classrooms, labs, library etc. RAJUK has allocated an acre of land for its permanent campus Sector 11, Road 107, Plot 001 of Purbachal, Dhaka. The University is committed to providing quality education for its students. Therefore, most of the alumni who have completed graduations and masters have engaged themselves with earning sources relevant to jobs or entrepreneurships or employment in foreign countries. Some of the graduates have taken admissions in different foreign countries namely in USA, UK, South Korea, Japan, China, Malaysia etc. for pursuing their Masters and Ph.D degrees. In addition to quality education, the students have access to several types of curricular and co-curricular activities, amusements, games, and sports. The University has an active academic wing for exchanging programs. With various international activities the wing creates credit transfer facilities to renowned universities in the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Finland, Malaysia, and many more countries.
