Dr. Muhammad Kamruzzaman is an experienced academician with a proven track record of contribution to higher education. Over the years, he has taken on diverse roles and responsibilities across both academic and administrative domains, demonstrating his expertise and dedication to the field (of higher education).
He holds a B.Com (Honours) and an M.Com in Finance from University of Dhaka, followed by a PhD in Finance from Islamic University, Kushtia, Bangladesh. His expertise lies in Finance, encompassing areas like Principles of Finance, Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Financial Planning and Capital Budgeting, Project Management, Investment Theory and Management, Financial Statement Analysis, Real Estate Finance, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Financial Markets and Institutions, Working Capital Management, International Financial Management, Bank Management, Insurance and Risk Management.
Passionate about research, he specializes in finance-related studies. His work has been published in renowned national and international research journals. He has also served as an editor and reviewer for numerous scholarly publications. He has guided many BBA and MBA students through their internships and thesis projects.
Being an accomplished author, he has penned twelve textbooks for tertiary education. His involvement in seminars as a keynote speaker, and a participant in esteemed conferences, workshops, and webinars reflects his commitment to continuous learning.
Driven by a passion for positive societal change, he has taken over advisory, vice-presidential, and founding roles in various social initiatives. His involvement extends to numerous academic and non-academic committees. Currently, he holds the position of Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Business Administration at International Standard University.
