Farzana Chowdhury joined the Department of Business Administration at International Standard University (ISU) as a Senior Lecturer on February 16, 2025. She is a distinguished academician, researcher, and statistician with over a decade of experience in higher education and applied research. She holds both a Master of Science (Thesis Group) and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Applied Statistics from the renowned Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT), University of Dhaka. Her academic excellence has been recognized through multiple national and international scholarships.

Farzana began her academic career at Northern University Bangladesh (NUB), where she served as a faculty member from 2012 to 2022. She also contributed as an adjunct faculty member at Sonargaon University. Throughout her teaching career, she has taught a wide range of courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels across various disciplines. In parallel with her teaching, Farzana has engaged in consulting and research collaborations with several national and international organization. Her research portfolio spans key sectors such as maternal and child health, transportation planning, education, and socio-economic development. Her scholarly work has been published in various peer-reviewed journals.

Beyond academics, she has played an active role in university extracurricular activities, serving as convener, coordinator, and member of several student clubs. She has also moderated national and international webinars, participated in online academic forums, and organized institutional events. Her contributions reflect a well-rounded blend of intellectual depth, practical experience, and leadership in both educational and development spheres.
