Habiba Altaf is a dedicated academic and researcher currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Textile Engineering. She holds a B.Sc. in Textile Engineering and an M.Sc. in Chemistry, which together provide her with a strong interdisciplinary foundation in both material science and textile processing. Before joining academia, she worked as a Research and Development Officer at Matin Spinning Mills Ltd., where she was actively involved in 
spinning process optimization and quality improvement to meet international buyer standards.Her industrial experience significantly enriches her teaching and research, particularly in yarn 
manufacturing, fiber science, and process control. Her current academic interests include fiber and polymer engineering, sustainable textile processing, and the integration of chemistry in 
textile innovation. She is also preparing for doctoral studies in Polymer and Fiber Engineering,aiming to contribute to advanced material development for sustainable applications. With a passion for teaching, Habiba Altaf is committed to nurturing future textile professionals through a blend of theoretical insight and practical knowledge.
