Abdullah Al Mamun, Lecturer, Department of English of International Standard University, has experience of teaching in the Department of English at tertiary level. Besides teaching, he writes articles on a regular basis in different Bangladeshi dailies such as The Daily Star and New Age. His writings focus on diverse subject matters from literature to contemporary social and political life.
Abdullah Al Mamun has completed his graduation in English from East West University and post-graduation in English Literature and Cultural Studies from University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh. Later, he received the prestigious ICCR Scholarship and pursued Master of Arts in Comparative Literature from Jadavpur University, India. His areas of interests include South Asian Literature, Latin American Literature, African Literature, Cultural Studies, andPost-Colonial Theory and Literature.
